Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation at Longhill Reserve

At Longhill Reserve, our passion for wildlife goes far beyond sightings and safaris. We are deeply committed to wildlife rehabilitation and conservation, ensuring that the animals who call our reserve home are given the care and protection they deserve.

Meet our latest little patient — currently under the gentle care of our dedicated team. This young creature was found needing help, and thanks to quick action and expert attention, it is now on the road to recovery. With continued treatment, we’re confident that this little one will soon be strong enough to return to the reserve, where it belongs — wild and free.

Each rehabilitation story is a reminder of the importance of conservation work in protecting South Africa’s precious biodiversity. From the smallest animals to the largest, every life matters, and we’re proud to play a role in giving them a second chance.

We’ll be sure to share an update when this resilient little survivor is released back into the wild. Until then, we remain committed to our mission: conservation through care, compassion, and community.

Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes moments from the heart of Longhill Reserve’s conservation efforts.
